Katie Rohr Howell

Katie Rohr Howell is the Vocal Music and Music Theory teacher at Lansing High School. She is a former assistant director of VOICES Multicultural Chorus. Katie received a bachelor’s degree in music education from Ithaca College and a master’s degree in music education from the Eastman School of Music. In the summer of 2000, she had the great privilege of traveling to Kimberley, South Africa with the Kimberley Project, where she taught music to high school and middle school aged students and learned traditional South African songs from local musicians. Ms. Howell creates a relaxed yet robust atmosphere for SummerSing.
